Lucy Faithfull House, Oxford

Blanchard Wells is proud to be working alongside Willmott Dixon to deliver a much-needed residential building in the heart of Oxford. This four to six storey building will comprise of 36 flats, with a mix of one and two bedroom apartments. A significant proportion, almost 75%, of these properties will be affordable housing, offering social rent, affordable rent, and shared ownership options. The remaining 10 flats will be available for private sale.

Despite the restricted site location, Blanchard Wells has provided cost planning, buildability and logistic advice to Willmott Dixon throughout the SCF Gateway process. This has enabled us to construct a full substructures and superstructures package, from piling attendance to the completion of the RC frame and external works. The project has presented a range of challenges for our teams, including an extensive archaeological survey and asbestos on site.

We are committed to delivering the project to the highest standards and look forward to playing our part in providing much-needed affordable housing for the local community in Oxford.
